bit of wisdom

a guy named drew said this:

decision can be bad because you limit your options, and perhaps decrease your ability to live off your impulses.

The inability to make any decisions however can complete nullify your impulses.

Fear, as in being afraid to do something and attaching all kinds of ridiculous connotations to it, is always bad. But anxiety can be good, or nervous fluttering whatever. If a soldier is not anxious they will be killed. If you do not get excited, nervous, before doing something fun then there is really no point.

Death is an illusion. Fear of death is irrational. This doesn’t mean that one should not guard their life, and wish to live a long time, only that one should not fear death. The two cognitions are essentially different. We never know anything of death- even at a funeral. The idea of death as it is presented there is an illusion. The person is not dead. We do not see death, until we embalm the body and place it in a impenetrable box that separates the earth from it’s earth. The body is meant to become earth. The body is meant to feed more life. The death we moarn is an illusion.

You have to be cautious, you have to be impulsive, you have to go on your instinct, you have to weigh out the options and decide what will be the best route- it’s all very difficult. No one ever said that it’s easy to become immortal. But I know you can do it! I know you are with me! Everyone stand up, it’s sunday morning, be happy and fucking help someone today!

The point is, that everyone is afraid and indecisive and all of that, everyone wants to separate themself. Everyone wants to overcome something and once they feel they’ve overcame it they want to be separate from it and not believe that it is them anymore. Everyone hates indecision and doesn’t want to have to make them and everyone is faced with contradiction. Everyone wants to be completely one is and is sometimes reminded that they are not and it scares them. “The brightest flowers are grown in dirt and shit.” So are the ripest fruit. And that is the wisest thing I think I have ever heard. The flower cannot hate it’s shit. The flower cannot forget that it was once planted in it. Embrace the struggle, it is what makes you you. Make the decisions you need to make, do the things you need to do, there is no one who can tell you that you are right or wrong- “Humanity is condemned to be free!” Live with your actions and know that they are right when you see their justification in the lives of others!

WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!

the world is alive for you.

thank you drew.
